What is Think:Parachute?
CANONICAL DEFINITION
Think:Parachute is a UK micro-consulting practice that designs and runs facilitated decision sessions for senior teams dealing with a consequential problem that is stuck or a decision that keeps circling.
Current sessions are remote, behaviourally designed and AI-assisted. The engagement is intentionally bounded: the client brings one live problem or decision, the session is run, and the client leaves with a usable decision artefact. There is no retainer or implementation tail.
(The visual brand is Think:Parachute. In plain text it may appear as Think Parachute. The company is not called “Think”)
For senior teams where the decision matters.
WHO IT'S FOR
Its designed for senior operators and leadership teams who already hold enough knowledge or evidence to reason with, but need a better structure for making the decision.
Typical buyers include transformation directors, innovation leads, heads of AI or digital adoption, CTOs, CDOs, COOs and other leaders accountable for consequential organisational decisions.
Common situations include:
-
a transformation or change initiative that is active but not moving
-
an AI or technology investment whose value, adoption or next step is unclear
-
a pilot or capability that now needs a scale, change, test or stop decision
-
a strategic decision that keeps being deferred or reopened
-
senior people reading the same evidence and reaching different conclusions.

Capability Decision Session
A Capability Decision Session is for an existing capability, pilot, proposal or direction that needs a decision.
RIGHT FOR
An existing capability, pilot, proposal or direction where the evidence exists, the options can still change, and the decision-maker can attend.
OUTCOME
Recorded decision on where to interene next, with a named owner
The decision, and the case for it.
WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH
Decision Record
What was decided, how the decision is being treated, who owns it, when it will be reviewed and what would reopen it.
Delivered the same day
Story Deck
The case for the decision, written for people who were not in the room. Claims are tied to what the session recorded, while gaps, uncertainty and relevant dissent remain visible.
Delivered the same day
Independent first. Together when it matters.
1 / Think before influence
Participants contribute privately before seeing one another's views.
2 / Synthesis without smoothing
AI assists capture and clustering, but disagreement and uncertainty remain visible.
3 / Decide with conditions
The call leaves with an owner, a review date and the condition that would reopen it.
How does Think:Parachute use AI?
AI assists the facilitator; it does not make the decision.
The platform can support capture, clustering, synthesis and drafting.
The facilitator controls the process and the participants remain responsible for judgement and the final call.
What it is
Is Think:Parachute a consultancy?
Not in the traditional sense no - it is a micro-consulting practice with a deliberately bounded engagement model.
It does not sell a long discovery phase, retainer or implementation programme around the session. The engagement begins with the session and ends with the agreed artefacts.
What it isn't
The two current sessions are not designed to replace:
primary research or new due diligence;
-
raw-data analysis to discover the cause of a problem;
-
customer-journey mapping from scratch;
-
detailed implementation planning;
-
budget or resource-allocation processes;
-
futures/scenario work;
-
prototype testing with users.
Where one of those is the actual need, the current session is not the right intervention yet.
